STANWOOD — Luke Brennan’s RBI double in the third secured a win for pitcher TJ McQuery, who pitched six strong innings for Stanwood (13-9). Stanwood will play Arlington 11 a.m. Saturday at Funko Field in Everett in a winner-to-state game.

MILL CREEK — Emery Tulio’s 2-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning kept the Timberwolves (19-1 overall, 7-0) perfect in league play. Haylee Kim went 2-for-3 and scored twice for Lake Stevens (14-3, 4-2). Rachel Sysum drove in Jackson’s first two runs with a fourth-inning homer. Emerson Cummings gave the Vikings a 3-2 lead in the sixth inning with an RBI single.

Marysville Getchell 8, Stanwood 6

MARYSVILLE — Aaliyah Shafer went 3-for-4 with a double and Parker Johnson and Lilyana Balgos each contributed a pair of hits for the Chargers (9-9 overall, 7-7 league). Reagan Ryan tripled and went 2-for-4 for Stanwood (16-4, 13-2).

Edmonds-Woodway 2, Everett 1

EDMONDS — Pitchers Neva Cheeney and Helena Marsh combined to allow just three hits as the Warriors improved to 6-12 overall and 5-10 in league. Haylie Oyler drove in Everett’s lone run as they finished the regular season 14-6, 11-4.

Arlington 5, Shorewood 4

ARLINGTON — After the Eagles (8-12 overall, 8-7 league) tied the game in the bottom of the seventh inning, they won it on Peyton Aanastad’s sacrifice fly in the eighth. Lilly Perault hit a 3-run homer for Shorewood (11-10, 7-8).

Mountlake Terrace 4, Shorecrest 0

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Ellie Gilbert struck out 15 batters and went 2-for-3 at the plate as the Hawks improved to 7-13 overall and 7-8 in league. Lauren Atherton had the lone hit for the Scots (6-15, 2-13). Amaya Johnson delivered three hits and scored twice for Terrace.

EVERSON — Avalon Kummer went 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI as the Cougars (12-5 overall, 10-4 league) beat Nooksack Valley (5-16, 4-11) in five innings. Lakewood’s Avery Hite hit her first career home run, and Nikki Blodgett went 3-for-3.

SNOHOMISH — Nicholas Miller scored the goal for Glacier Peak (11-3-2). The Grizzlies will play Mount Si 7 p.m. Friday at Glacier Peak for a state berth.

EDMONDS — The Warriors earned a state berth with a 4-3 advantage in penalty kicks. Richard Duncan scored Edmonds-Woodway’s goal in regulation. Duncan, Alex Plumis, Anand Raghu and Alexander Bryan converted penalty kicks. The Warriers will face Shorewood 5 p.m. Saturday at Shoreline Stadium in the district championship game.
